One More Day

Where was I?

Oh yeah.

Four dogs.

Well, make that three. Scotty went to visit his owner in the rehab center and then will be boarded until she goes home or into assisted living. I hear that she will most likely be able to keep him with her at her new place if that is what ends up happening. I'm sure that will make them both happy.

Fiona is now re-claiming the house for her own. She is spending an inordinate amount of time stretched full length on the living room rug, just to make a point.

I don't blame her. She puts up with a lot.

Classy gets her stitches out tomorrow. I'm still waging a mighty battle with her to keep her from bothering that toe. Here's the latest incarnation of the warfare:

I suppose we will still have to keep her away from it for several more days after stitch removal.
We are both heartily tired of the whole thing let me tell you...

She has all kinds of shaved places on her already scanty coat. Two places where they put IV's and of course half a shaved toe. Whoever adopts her will have to look past all that. They will have to be special people. That's who she deserves.

Is it a trick of the light, or is her coat filling out?

I hope she finds a loving home. She's had a lot of it from the Yetzirah family, and she'll sorely miss anything less.

When the family is back down to Sunny and Ben, I'm sure Fiona will give up part of the rug.

    Bless

All four of those dogs are lucky to have you in their lives. Glad to hear that you are one step closer to normalcy - whetever that means!

Her mouth just cracks me up. She's just cute as a button ;). I think her coat is starting to look better, too.

I too think her coat seems to be filling in, although it just may be the contrast with the shaven part of her leg that makes it look that way. I choose to think she's finally bushing out, though.
