I have been studying a book with a friend. This is the book:

If you click on the 'see inside' link, you can read the introduction.   We have been reading it for some time now and in fact I liked this book so much I ordered one of his other books called 'Worldmask'. Last night I read something that put a wrinkle in my view of the worlds. A good wrinkle.    The upshot of this insight... this moment of *Chochmah, is that I have, for the time being anyway gotten a hold of something I think is going to be very helpful.    (What IS it you highly caloric scone?)   Well, it's this.... I intend to start directing my anxiety, my angst, my worry, my alarm about what is happening in our country and in the world, in a new direction.    What I learned was that spiritual things are not metaphors for our physical being, but that our physical being is a metaphor for spiritual things.    I don't have to worry that HaShem doesn't hear or see the trouble we are in. What I concluded is that there is 'trouble' in higher realms right now. And our situation is a metphor for THAT. Just like the time that angels had to do battle in order to communicate to Daniel.    But the reason they had to do battle, was that he prayed. He asked.

Sometimes there is only one sane thing to do in the face of insanity.

It looks something like this.

*Chochmah is associated in the soul with the power of intuitive insight, flashing lightning-like across consciousness.
