Oh my h-h-hens and ch-ch-chickens...
You will never guess what we did today. Well, you could guess I'm sure, but this is such a rare event for ME that it is not fully incorporated into my consciousness quite yet....
And in my defense, how could it because it has never happened to me before.
We bought a brand new car. My very first, and only Hub Man's second. When you are a mechanic, fixing older cars doesn't scare you, but there's a time for everything, eh? ;-)
Here ya go... our Cube.

I know... it's a whacky little thing. But we are a whacky pair. It works for us.
It's quite the novel experience to drive a modern car. It has many REALLY modern things on it, like it has a proximity "key" that you don't have to use in an ignition, you just press a 'start' button. That makes me laugh just to think about it. It's even funnier to push it and have the car start up. We are pouring over the manuals and trying to figure out all the stuff it has on it, like it will answer our cell phones and put the call over the speaker so we don't have to pick up the phone. We haven't figured out how to USE that yet, but we will.
It's been a very eventful, and busy, and unique day. I need to go lay down with a cool cloth on my head and recover.
(You WOULD buy something goofy. Just to mess with me. I have to ride around in that thing with you. It's embarrassing. Thanks a LOT.)

I'm not getting in it at all.
I'll stay home and bake bread or something.
That is NOT a dignified vehicle.
Bukffftttt.
