Sadie - The Money Shots
Mon Aug 30 2010

It was my Sheltie Rescue job this weekend to get some nice pictures of Sadie so we can put her on our website for adoption. Lucky for us, we had our first in a long time cloudy day, which in my humble opinion makes for good photography in general. All that diffused light so conveniently available...

I took a boat load of pictures which is my new strategy for photography these days.

I got lucky.

Check it out...

The breeze helped.
Made for nice fur effects.

Here's one more...

And since we were in the mode, I got a video of her too.

Sadie In The Park

Isn't she adorable?

We are still working on getting her used to being petted and touched all over without it being tense moments for her. We have a ways to go. But in most other things, she is just fine. I have a feeling she will be off to her forever home soon...

Just like everyone else, I think she's gorgeous! She makes me really wish I could afford to adopt her.

No doubt about it, Sadie is one gorgeous Sheltie.

Do you know why she's so shy about pets and touches?

You can tell she loves you! It's obvious in her eyes and sweet smile. I guess you don't have room for another one, though. :(

Walking is allowed in most, but not all (or so I'm told by a marathon runner friend of mine).

I want to get back into running so I can run with my Hubby. #3 and I have also talked about doing a couple 5K's a year together (he's hoping to do the one in Disneyland in 2011 on Labor Day).

I also lose more weight when I run than when I walk, which is my primary goal. I'm tired of the extra weight and high blood pressure! Also, I want to do something before Diabetes decides to join the game.

I hope to do just walking or biking on days between my training to run, but just being able to eventually run 5K is something I'm actually looking forward to! I know... sick, demented and warped. Gotta love it!

Fabulous pics....she is beautiful; what's not to love?

I fully expect her to find her forever home soon; just one without small children.....I think she has more than done her duty in that department. :)
