This is me right now:

Only my skirt and blouse are blue.
And so is the air.
And I have no shoes on.
And my hair is messier.

It would have been better if I had stayed in bed today I think.

On my way home from shopping, a rock flew up and whacked my windshield HARD. Made a nasty star shaped ding. By the time I arrived home, it had developed a long horizontal line about 8 inches long near the base of the windshield.

RATS.

Then when I got home, I discovered that Ben and Sunny had mangled the small fence protecting my ferns and the side yard. They had trampled one fern into the ground and torn a hollyhock plant to death.

They were taken by the scruff and barricaded into the side yard which they seem so fond of and I'm not letting them out any time soon.
Grrrrrrrr...... I'm VERY put out with them right now.

It does not help me at all that I have to make a phone call to the car insurance people or something. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the crack. It's very annoying.

Plus for some unexplained reason my house has become a disaster area. Something happened in the last few days and now I need to set things straight. But I really just feel like throwing things, not putting them away nicely folded in the linen closet.

You hear what I'm saying??

(I think I will abstain from comment at the moment.)

    I'd suggest some knitting to help you get calm and centered again, but they are pointy sticks........hmmmm, maybe not.

    Better make that a double oh dear :( :(

    I hate to tell you this if you haven't already been told, but if it's cracked your windshield will need to be replaced.

    One glass repair shop up near me advertises that "if it's smaller than a dollar bill, we can fix it", but it sounds like yours is bigger than that.

    Good luck, and thank you for the reminder of why I always crate the dogs when we have to leave them alone! I suspect Jake is capable of doing to my entire house what your two did to the ferns. LOL!

    Oh no, what a day! The companies will come right out to your house and replace the windshield in your driveway! We have to have ours replaced in the van too,sigh. Sorry about your plants!
