When we went out to the beaver pond the other day, on the way home I found a patch of one of my favorite plants around our area. .. wild narcissus. I can't say we are loaded with them, but they grow here and there. I brought some home to cheer up the house.

And cheer they do...

They are filling the house with essence of wild narcissus, which is a force to be reckoned with let me tell you. It's a powerful fragrance. Lovely for indoor spaces when the outdoors is still not that friendly.

Even though it is sunny out today, [it is so damp and cold].... this doesn't keep me from daydreaming. I am already making plans for my patio this year. I want to make it a more comfortable place to hang out. Rug? Chairs? Cushions? Table? Hanging plants? Not sure yet. Maybe all of those things.

But today?

Well, we will have to be content with narcissus blossom intoxication.

Lovely little fragrant flowers. I need to plant some and some daffies.

    I just WANT a patio.
    I'm still waiting.
    *sigh*

    Beautiful and so very cheerful.

I'm with you on the dreaming and planning. I've been eyeing my front porch and thinking it needs some sprucing up; maybe a little bistro table and 2 chairs in the corner next to the lilac. I imagine a place for sipping morning tea or quiet afternoon crocheting. And flowers......yes, lots of flowers. :)
