It’s 95 degrees outside, and the dogs and I are housebound.
I let them out a little bit ago to do what dogs do in the backyard, and 60 seconds later there they were at the slider wanting back in.
The look on their faces?
Priceless.
Earlier, around 7 in the morning, while I was out there watering I noticed a quiet little charater in the flower bed that took me by surprise.
It was doing it's thing without much fanfare.
I almost missed it...

So unassuming and shy, but oh so pretty.
I also saw some actual golfball sized tomatoes on a few of the plants. Though they are the small plants that were choked by the pea vines. They are free from those now, but I fear they may not grow too much more.
I’m beginning to second guess my decision to plant so many determinant tomatoes.
Though if memory serves, one of the varieties out there is an indeterminant. I won’t know bupkiss who’s who until they are ripe. They all got mixed up and lost their name tags long ago in the sprouting tray. I’m going to have to get some plastic colored skewers or something to keep track of the varieties next year.
Though really, what does it matter? It’s just my control freak trying to take over.

Did you say something?
Excuse me while I go start a jug of sun tea. Seeings as how we have plenty of sun to work with at the moment...
