Ah, it’s Thursday.

Time for some frivolity.

I could use some frivolity.

Last night, the heat wave broke. The delta breeze started to blow in. I could feel it. I don't function well under high temperatures. I sort of go into temporary hibernation.

I perked up. My head started to clear. Life seemed hopeful again. I sat down with my watercolors and shamelessly copied the image of some buttons I saw on the internet.

I kept mixing colors for the body until I got one that I liked. But I’m keeping them ALL! Experiments are part of the fun.

I am very drawn to simple shapes. Why do you suppose that is?

I’ll own that label.

As a matter of fact, I’ll back up my owning of it by sharing this video. This song popped into my mind yesterday and wouldn’t leave. So I invited it in for tea.

Or mead as the case may be.

    I do not function well in heat waves either. I prefer the cooler weather as well. I dehydrate real easy at times for some reason that is yet questionable to the doctors yet to this day so going out in hot weather is done seldom and I go out only when I have to and that when I have an appointment or go grocery shopping with my IDS workers who can take me.

    Ah, the 80s, what would we do without them? :-) I haven't seen that video for years! (and I *still* don't entirely understand it...)

    I LOVE Safety Dance! Always have. I think it's a holdover from the days when I had fuschia hair that was cut really short, up over my ears.
