My secret project is on its way to its recipient.
As soon as it arrives, I’ll post my pictures here. It turned out great and I can’t wait to hear if they like it on that end...
Frosty mornings here, and dry. I actually had to water the back yard this afternoon. My clover seedlings needed a drink.
When I went for my walk today out on the other side of the housing development, I noticed all the drainage creek beds are dry. Not a pool or a puddle anywhere. Only the main creek that flows from the pond has water in it now. I’m thinking of going over to the beaver pond area and see what’s happening tomorrow. Last time I looked, there were signs that he has moved upstream. I saw a big tree had been taken down.
We shall investigate further.
Hub Man has been home with a nasty cold. He’s trying his best to cough up a lung. He requested and received homemade cinnamon rolls today. He’s heating one up now for a bedtime snack.
I ate mine for lunch. That’s ALL I had for lunch. Cinnamon rolls use up a lot of weight watcher’s points. One has to have one’s priorities. Fresh baked cinnamon rolls trump regular lunches. Besides, I had my roll and I didn’t go over my points allowance for the day.
So there.
I’m a little at sixes and sevens in my knitting right now. I’m working on a pair of socks for someone but when those are finished, I don’t have anything in mind for the next project. I usually have a nice long list of things I want to get to, but I’ve been so busy finishing off the last list, that I forgot to start a new one.
This engenders a vague sense of unease.
I need to put my thinking cap on and write a new list.
Maybe I’ll get the stash out and spread it out on the floor again and stare at it for a while. Perhaps something will occur to me.
That’s my plan.
