I’m working on a secret project.
It’s on the knitting needles.
Several of them to be exact.
It’s in pieces right now.
Pieces in various states of finished-ness.
I can’t post it for some time, because there are certain spying eyes that hang around here from time to time that get all up in my bidness, so I can’t show you my progress.
(I thought you WANTED people to read this drivel.)
Well, most of the time, that is true, but this time I would love to just share but I love a surprise more than, more than.... chocolate.... almost. So I’m keeping a lid on my project.
(If there WAS a lid, you would not have brought it up at all. This is the true meaning of secrets don’t you know....)
Well, writing about it is letting some of the steam out of my psychological pressure cooker. So to speak.
(The lengths you will go to make bad analogies astounds.)
Glad to be of service.

Went to Weight Watchers today and learned about the latest tweaks to the program. I have respect for the program. .. [it works], but the management, I must tell you, are prodigious tweakers.
My progress is slow... but steady and in the right direction.
But slow.
Really slow.
Did I mention S-L-O-W?
I only wanted to lose 5% of my body weight. Then I’ll be back at my original goal weight. And evidently this is the 5% that my body is most fond of. I’m wrenching the ounces off like prying off the death grip fingers around a Hershey’s bar. Or maybe a freshly baked maple bar from Safeway. Or a plate full of warm out of the oven homemade snickerdoodles.
(Are you seeing any kind of pattern there Cupcake?)
No, those three things are all from different food groups. The cacao group, the frosting group, and the cinnamon group.
Don’t you know your food pyramid ()?
Okay, no more fooling around.
I have knitting to do.
Secret knitting.
The very best kind.
