I was commissioned to knit a little something for S. to give to her friend as a birthday gift.
I will have to part with it this evening, so it can go to its recipient.
Thing is, I have fallen in love with it.
I'm keeping it close by so I can see it many times today….
Although, I am a fickle admirer. I have also been carrying this next one around with me, showing it to whomever I can buttonhole on the street...
I may not be able to sell this one.

They never really turn out the same, even with the same pattern and yarn. There's this THING that happens in the felting. I think it's the chaos element. It's the magical part of the whole craft that keeps me going. I can't help myself.

I don't have any proper sense of what to ask for it. I mean if I priced it right now, I'd want 395.00, or some other fantastical number. Clearly I do not have a balanced perspective on the subject.
