Today I hauled more wood with Mr. P. We aren't finished splitting and stacking, but it was good to get another load off the hill as it is supposed to rain in a few days. I walked through the house again to take a few measurements and try to pre-visualize where I'll be arranging the furniture. I'm loving the kitchen more and more. It's so roomy and bright. But I cannot tell a lie, it would have been so much more joyful to be anticipating these things with He Who Is Still In My Thoughts. Cannot be married for almost 14 years and forget someone in a few short weeks. That ain't happenin'. So I muddle along, doing the best I can to envision myself living there alone. It's a wobbly business at best. But it's the business at hand.
