The winds are blowing all around, and THROUGH my cottage this morning.
I keep throwing wood at Bruce and he keeps burning it up. We are having a hard time keeping ahead of the weather today.
I used to talk about how I wanted to live somewhere where there would be snow once in a while.
Well, someone got the memo, so I'm not going to complain.
I'm just stating the facts.
:-)
Right now there are only flurries of snow.
I have no idea what's going to happen by the end of the day.
But we have all the necessities of life handy by, so we will bundle up and watch the show.

I read an interesting little idea yesterday about making a homemade cleaner using white vinegar and citrus peels.
You put the peels into the vinegar and let it sit for… a month? A week? I can't remember now.
Then strain it and put it in a spray bottle.
I decided to try it.
Here's my jar, amid the other things on my work table, near the drafty windows...
We shall see what kind of cleaner it turns out to be. But in the meantime, I'm enjoying looking at the jar. I've decided to think of it as art.
And to remember… it won't be winter forever you know...
