I finished work on the felted bags today.
It was a little more complex than usual.
I tried some new things that didn't quite work as I had hoped, but in the end it all worked out.
Here's the pink one, all done.
I'm not sure why I wanted to make that opening in the front, but I kind of like it. Perhaps I could have made it a little longer, but it's hard to gauge how much things are going to felt. If I do this again, I will make that opening a few rows longer.
Here's the second wrist purse.
I really like how it turned out. Love that gold color.
And here is the finished purse, the idea for which, popped into my head while driving with my sister-in-law over the big mountain one day.
I put all the bells and whistles on this one … a pocket on the back,
and a snap swivel for the little money purse on the inside.
I'm going to put a high price on this one as it was a lot of extra yarn and work.
The market starts in about two weeks. It will be great to see everyone again and hang out in the uncertain elements together. And as a bonus, aforementioned sister-in-law will be there this year selling her quilted projects. Wait till you see THOSE!
