My garden, as predicted, is in alt.
I think the crookneck squashes must have pulled a chloroplast muscle or two, they grew so much yesterday.
They are looking positively jungly now.
Here's the star of the garden today though...
I forget the name of this variety, but the plant is only about 16 inches tall! Sweet!
The green beans are just starting to wind their way up my wonky willow trellis...
The blackberries are forming.
And this is as close as I can get to caprese salad at the moment...
I'm going to mention it only in passing right now, because I just want to get it over with here in these pages. . .
This week, I signed the final papers for my divorce. Though as with all things legal, [I have found out] it's not really over, it seems like it's NEVER really over. I have to wait until the judge looks them over and signs them, which I'm told is taking from four to six weeks right now.
I'm hoping that this 'series of unfortunate events' can at last be archived, and my theme song can reach the 'better days' line.
Just for fun, here's the song in case you may have missed it before...

Imagine me walking around my garden barefoot singing it.
It's been my mantra, with God's help.
And H. M. if you are reading this, I think you should know something.
You never knew me.
