I've had a happy day!
After doing several weeks of in home piece work, I have a few days off.
In my back room… AKA The Room of Requirement, there was a dress that I had cut out eons ago, sitting on top of the sewing machine.
Today was the day.
It took me four hours to make it, mostly because I lined the whole thing. I'm VERY happy with how it turned out.
I am a Jewish girl with Amish tendencies.
I won't deny it.
I had two other projects in the sewing pile. A dress that was given to me that needed hemming and the bottom part of a dress that had worn out on the neck and sleeves. I put elastic in it and made a skirt.
So in one long day.. [from 9:30 till 5:30] I now have three new garments!
(Well, maybe that will make up for yesterday when you did almost nothing whatsoever.)
You know ( ), for once I'm going to tell you to shut your trap.
This is a good day's work in anyone's book.
Go conjugate some verbs or something.
