My crookneck and tomato pizza was/is delicious.
I say is, because I have two more portions waiting for me in the fridge.
Yay for leftovers!
I stayed up very late last night, finishing up some knitting.
This morning I felted them.
Here is the adjusted version of the blue one I made earlier...
I love it to bits.
It's a little fatter, and I adjusted the placement of the handles to my satisfaction.
It's so cheerful and bright!
In the past, I have had trouble with Lamb's Pride yarn felting a bit wonky and it had a tendency to crease, which I really did not like.
But that was using my front loading washing machine.
Right now, that front loader is out in the barn, and I'm using the top loader that came with the house. It does a much better job in the felting department, at least with this particular yarn.
I also made myself [finally] a cell phone pouch for my new phone, which everyone who calls me is grateful for, as my old cell phone kept turning itself off whenever it took a notion. On the charger, sitting on the desk, in the middle of a call… it was an equal opportunity annoyance.
Anyway, this little thing is drying on the clothesline right now.
It looks like a little wild animal of some sort.
I used up some little balls of yarn I have left over that sort of went together.
I will probably trim off the fuzzies with the electric dog trimmer I have so that it won't scare people when they see it.
Though me, … I kinda like it all wooly. At least for now...
This is a good start to the week, in my book.
