I've had the little green zipper bag hanging on my white board here by my computer.
I kept looking at it, trying to decide what to do with it.
I could take it over to the consignment shop where I have a collection of my things for sale.
I could save it for farmer's market next year.
I could use it myself.
[What a concept!]
(Shocking idea. Truly.)
Then it hit me.
I'm going to give it away!
It just feels right somehow. I'm not sure why now, why this bag, but there you have it.
Chalk it up to the cold temperatures.
I took it out into the snow and snapped this picture:
The egg was to try to show its size, which isn't all that big. It is big enough for a checkbook, if you still carry one. But it's not that wide. So if you are a minimalist kind of person, this bag would work for you.
The handles are a little awkward. Sort of a bit too long for one handed carry, and too short to put over your shoulder.
One could knot the handles and make them work better for carrying.
I know I'm pointing out all its flaws, and forgetting that it has a pleasing color scheme, and a VERY nice button with little hearts on it, and the coveted zipper.
So, here's what we'll do:
I'm leaving this entry open for comments until the 18th of December. Anyone who leaves a comment will be put into a drawing and on the 19th I'll pull a name out of the hat and The Little Green Bag will be yours.
Comment away dear readers!
(I think I'll pass. I don't care for the color green myself.)
Oh? What's your favorite color?
(Why black of course.)
I walked right into that one… right into it.
(Indicative of a weak mind.)
Evidently.
