Rainy Day Woolies
Wed Feb 12 2014

I promise you that I actually do other things besides knitting. Really. But pictures of vacuum cleaners, clean dishes, tidy closets and spotless floors are not anywhere as photogenic as knitting... (What are these spotless floors you talk about? You can't mean HERE can you? Who are you trying to kid?) Well, it was just a little metaphorical … umm, literary… er…. license? (I don't think you have paid your license fees in a long, long time Cupcake.) For a literary device, you seem to think you are the one in charge around here. I beg to differ. (Beg all you want. I've PAID my fees.) Sigh. Anyway, here's some knitting. A hat from some of my gifted yarn. I think it's very cheerful. Blue hat1 Blue hat2 It turned out a bit on the large side, so I felted it lightly. I like the result. As I was driving by the garden yesterday, I noticed something disturbing. The weeds are sprouting. Oh dear. But never mind, I have plans. They include things like this instead: Seeds   Though there is a lot of hard labor between now and then. Eh, it keeps me out of trouble. (A skill for which you are quite inept, we might add.) We? Who's we? (Everyone dill weed, everyone.) I'm not in trouble. (Denial is a terrible personality trait. You should work on that.) Sigh. I give up. (Very well.)   lime wild

I love the hat especially the top! My dust bunnies have reproduced like rabbits and they are starting to get a little feisty chasing each other around. I remember one of those plaques that said "he who has a clean house has a dull mind" I take it very much to heart where I am concerned. Thank you for the note.
