Well, I haven't gotten very much done in the last 24 hours except play with my Kindle Fire.
I can't believe what this little thing can do for such a reasonable price!
It was worth all the hours of knitting! Makes all that sitting in the hot afternoons, with ashes from the forest fires sifting down on us worth it.
There is no such thing as gravitas for me with this little device.
It's all about My Singing Monsters, and other frivolities. I have earned the right to have a spot in my life for something lighthearted.
Oh, yeah, there's all the toys...
I mean, how can you not love a portable device that you can curl up with and watch your favorite Star Trek Voyager episodes on?
I plugged in my earbuds last night at watched Tuvok show everyone how to get their Vulcan on.

It's Friday and the chicks are six weeks old today.
Here they are just a few minutes ago, doing what they do best -
Foraging for anything edible… or more precisely, anything that LOOKS like it might be edible….
Mr. P is in the process of putting up the netting. So soon they will be out into the full run again. He said he saw the red-tailed hawk circling yesterday. Here's hoping he will have to go somewhere else for his dinner. Like the digger squirrel city over by the barn. That sounds like a good idea.
Okay, gotta run, I've got monsters hatching….
