The Green Phase Continues
Sun Apr 12 2015

What's with the long gaps between posts? I just don't know. Or I know, but I can't articulate it. (Hey, using our big words this morning are we? Bravo!) Don't get on my case (), I haven't had my tea yet. I haven't been idle. I'm hardly EVER idle. Some time ago a knitting friend gave me two balls of yarn that she had spun herself.... It was not enough to make a scarf with unless I added something to it. So I warped my loom with her yarn and the jealously hoarded bits of green I had left over from other projects. My attraction to green right now is completely beyond explanation. I'm trying not to analyze it, I'm just going with it. Anyway, this was the result: DSCN6208a In my book, it's full of wonderful. All irregular, lumpy, and asymmetrical .... sorta like me! DSCN6207a   As much as I'm loving weaving, and have lots of plans for more of it, I am feeling the need to dip my fingers in some watercolors in the next few days. All it took was a glance at something I saw on Pinterest the other day. A simple wash of magenta and sky blue on a journal page. I could FEEL the paint flowing off the brush in my mind, and I knew it was time. But before I dabble in pigments, I must do some baking and cooking. Now that Passover is over.... heh heh... I can have bread again, and decided to celebrate with some homemade french bread. AND my supply of My Chai is completely used up. I cannot quite function properly without it, so that's on the list too. But, while I'm doing all these other things... I'll be THINKING about weaving.  :-)   lime-wild

It looks like Spring...... light, energetic with a hint of vines ready to sprout. :)
