Our first market was well attended by the growers and sellers, but not so much the buyers.
We are ever hopeful for a better turn out.
I sold two little felted pouches to two adorable little girls. That's about it.
But it is always nice to be out and about in the neighborhood, seeing the local peeps.
My friend N. came with me and turns out she is a whiz at displaying my wares. My rack has never looked so spiffy!!!
It was rather warm and we were in the sun a bit. I think a canopy is going to be a necessity this year.
I'm still recovering from a tad too much sun exposure yesterday.
But it could not stop me this morning from doing a chore I have wanted to get to for some time.
My middle son and his wife visited this last weekend, and he mowed the bad weeds in this area. The one's with the fox tail that caused Sunny so much trouble a few summers back. All that was left of it was along the fence. So I had to do it by hand.
I'm happy with the results!
Now somebody needs to rake up all that mess.
(I'm not doing it.)
The thought never entered my mind that you would.
(Good.)
Sigh.
