When I got my iPhone last year, knowing my tendency for butterfingeryness, I immediately bought a case for it that surrounded it completely. But when I put it into my purse I also immediately noticed that it made its way to the bottom and burrowed itself in like a badger. So I added a ribbon and beads so I could fish it out easier. This worked great.
So today I decided to make a new 'leash' for it. I was inspired by another project I had just completed:
It's been a long time since I've knitted some of those leaves.... and I had an idea...
In a lot of ways, this encapsulates my life. One foot in ancient crafts, and the other in the whiz bang Star Trek universe. I admit, this does sometimes cause my eye to twitch. But it's a small price to pay to be surrounded by awesome!
