Do you know how difficult it was to choose the correct title to this entry? My initial idea was – No-Skirt Day, then - Skirtless Day, then - beautiful in its simplicity - Skirtless... And then I realised that bound to be misunderstood by somebody out there. And create unhealthy traffic to my diary, and of course consequently people are gonna get disappointed as in fact, this is just an entry about unsuccessful attempt to buy a skirt.
Inspired by the fact that yesterday my plan has been miraculously fulfilled (which was, of course, purely coincidence and a hand of Fate, that broke my internet connection for a day leaving me nothing else to do but to do things I intended to do in the first place.) Anyway…I’ve lost me now…ah, inspired that things can actually happened just like you plan them to happened, today I’ve decided to try my luck in another pre-planned activity: I was going to have a Skirt-Hunting Day. And so I did…
[~can’t hear you laughing? ~]
Well, as we all well know, Me and Shopping – that eternal battle of powers...never easy…never! So do I now need to say that, of course, all the decent skirts in the shops have been promptly folded away and hidden in the storehouse by mean shop assistants just before I walked in? Leaving me in total frustration, coz I didn’t really wanted to go shopping today and spent about an hour in the morning hesitating whether to go or stay at home. As if I anticipated the uselessness of such exercise. Mental note to myself: trust instincts and never go shopping unless you absolutely have to. (i.e. when you look for something to put on in the morning and nothing is there)
In my totally upset mood I’ve decided to be mean to the shops too and…bought two pullovers instead. So – there! – don’t mess with me or else ...
