Some would call it white gold, some would say – white death. Some would go deep mining to find it, some would exclude it from their daily ration. Never mind the value, its taste is one of the basic human tastes: bitter, salty, sour, and sweet. We do have various tastes. Some like it sickening sweet, some cannot rid of bitter aftertaste in their mouth; the sour is always popular as a flavour of extremes that warps a face…but salt is simply essential for all the living creatures. It regulates the balance of the fluids and neutralises some acid reactions. The same as in physical sense, one has to add a grain of salt to their mind. Just a tiny bit of it can save a life. Never underestimate the meaning of the antidote to be taken with the small amounts of various poisons to help to swallow them safely.
