I’m almost back to my normal self. After a couple of wars on various fronts things are looking more positive. I had a battle with my fridge and looks like I won. (he still has a cooling-off period to change his mind though) I’ve learned how a fridge works and refreshed my school knowledge of physics by inventing a smart method of pumping out the water using a piece cut off the garden hose and the water’s own natural pressure. Am I smart or am I smart, huh! I’ve been also fighting a cold. Or a flu. Or whatever other nasties are out there on a loose. I’m getting better on this front as well and my voice has returned to me almost as he was. Yesterday I featured one of those voices that can be defined as either sexy or boozed away, depending on personal preferences of the listeners. Today, however, I can speak again. To justify mentioning of a common cold I would add that I’m not going to my dance class today, tomorrow or weekend. That means, it is of a strength that matters.
I chatted with a friend recently and we discovered that I am totally uneducated in…men’s perfumes. Why would I want to be? I have no idea. But this happened to be a topic we discussed and they made me to promise to explore this dark area of commercialised smells and to pick up a scent that makes my knees go weak…guess, I will have to plan a visit to a shop with the sniffing purposes. Once my nose regains his sniffing abilities, that is. Thinking of this afterwards I was wondering why is that we do tend to have a pretty good idea of a scent we want to have on us, but not much clue of what we’d wish to sense on the other people, if anything at all. Scent of clean would be nice too, I suppose. I also wonder would the both choices be of the same aroma character or totally unrelated to each other. Are we drown to the scents in others that are similar to our own or is it a totally different flavour that excites us more. Will have to satisfy my curiosity now. Isn’t it amusing what silly things occupy our mind sometimes…I’ll blame it all to the nose blockage and sore throat then.
