Thingish Things

I received this message from...me. I do this every birthday, I send message through the Futureme.org website, address them to myself and am receiving them promptly exactly on a date they have been marked  to be sent. Not that I'm lacking happy birthday wishers, I just find it neat to be able to say to myself something, then, a year later, just when I forget all about it, suddenly get an encouraging message. After all,  who knows better then me what I need?! The words in a title were the ones I've sent to me a year ago. Along with a long list of the more material wishes. All the impossible things I wanted a year ago. I have to be honest and admit not all of them come true. In fact, very little of them do come true. Yet there is something amusing in learning what were your own dreams a year ago. And what in your own opinion you needed the most in the next 365 pages of your life's story. Things we wish for are usually things we think we do not have yet. Based on my self-birthday wish this year, I guess, I'm still to learn not to be shy with my dreams and not be afraid to love my gorgeous self. Oh well, better start working on it straight away, eh? So, happy birthday to me. Yet another year to get it right!
