Bureaucratic Boogie 2
Thu Jun 26 2003

Up early... too early. Can't sleep.

I am trying to figure out what I am going to do at work today.
Both of the people I am supposed to be working for are gone for the week and have left me no projects. My only fall back is to work my way through the Excel manual on the computer in the office. Is this the way to treat a new employee?

I feel like going out in the lobby and greeting people as they come in like those people do at Wal-Mart. . .

Maybe I can beg one of the other people in the department to give me something to do. They better watch out, or I am going to start mopping floors and dusting. :-)There's a microwave in the back, maybe I could bake cookies !

I am lost in BureaucratLand. . . Heeeelllllppp !

Maybe, in the interest of friendship, I should have warned you about the job. I did work for the military, and I did work in a military hospital.

    You know FUBAR?

Oh, and BTW: H. found out yesterday that McClellan and Mather don't speak to each other.

    Shalom.

I hope you find something to do at work. I can't think of anything worse, a job and nothing to do. Argh! ;-)
