Where's the Charger?
Tue Sep 02 2003

I’m sitting down for a little bit.

My big jobs of the day were to pay the bills and do all the laundry. The bills are now sealed in their envelopes, (good riddance) and the last load of wash is in the dryer.

I’m trying to relax, but as I write, I can see my left big toe twitching nervously.
I don’t feel ready to start the workweek. The house needs cleaning but I don’t feel up to doing it today. I am kinda wiped out from our trip to tell you the truth. It’s great to go see everyone. But I have introverts syndrome and now I am recuperating from being around a lot of people for a few days.

If I was a battery, I would be plugged into the charger. But unfortunately this is not a recharging kind of day for me. Too many things to do. In a little bit, I need to go get groceris. Its hot out and I’m not looking forward to it.

There’s something in the dryer right now making a clunking noise. But I am too lazy to get up and see what it is. I just found some kind of socket thing that was in the washer in hubby’s pocket, it was so nice and clean…..

Okay, okay, I got up to see what was making the racket. It’s the buttons on his jeans.

Sigh…. I’m tired…….

Later.
Right after writing that, I walked like the zombies in Night of the Living Dead and crawled into bed and slept for an hour. Coma like hour. Weird, to take a nap at 4:45 in the late afternoon. But that’s what happened..

Off to get groceries.

Yeah, I know about that introvert syndrome. It's difficult being around a lot of people for any lentgh of time. Even people you're related to and love deeply.

But isn't it nice to have a quiet nook to come home to, even if there's dirty laundry and stuff like that.

As for naptime. 4:45 sounds about right.

    Shalom.

I hope you had a very fulfilling time in the mountains. I'm sorry E and his wife weren't able to make it. I still remember him at the corner of the basketball court doing his little dances to the cheerleader's music and laughing my head off! The only thing I enjoyed more during the games was watching F play. Was E ever able to get in touch with S before he was shipped to Afghanistan? If he's not aware of it there is an email address he can get. S sends out weekly or biweekly general messages to anyone on his list. There is usually a photo or two included.
Get some sleep and may all your dreams come true..

I hope the sleep helped. I can understand about needing to be alone for a while, recharging. Hope you get some moments alone. ;-)
