Goodbye July, Hello October?
Sat Jul 31 2004

I don't know what's gotten into me. But I'm strangly drawn to the coming season. I ran across this picture on Caedes Photo website. I just put it on my desktop. What a beauty eh?

It is a very pretty picture, but don't rush the season. It is close enough as it is. :)

A heavy layer of marine air (another of our famous euphemisms for clouds)has blanketed our region and it is very fall-like here this morning. It has made it very nice for scurrying about and getting things done, but I am not quite ready to give up summer. My satsuma plums have not yet ripened. :)

Gorgeous! My only complaint about autumn is winter! Ha. Seriously, too bad it can't stay colorful. That's what I miss the most between November and March: the color.

Oh, my, yes, gorgeous! Reminds me of the colors back East. Sacramento has beautiful Fall colors, but not as brilliant as the colors on the East coast.

Any place to plant one of those in your yard??

    Shalom

I so love Autumn. That feeling of going out in a jumper, not too cold for a coat yet, and going on a walk with all the leaves around your feet.

How incredibly beautiful! I read somewhere that these colours won't be around much longer if temperatures continue to rise and autum gets hotter and hotter.

    hello mon amie
i read one of your reviews that you really enjoyed a cool site but you know mon amie what i prefer is your traditional kind of diary i want to hear about menopause and puking your guts out because you got too drunk the night before and forgetting to set the alarm one more time
now this review that i am referring to is not like this but indeed it is a very cool site taking bits of scraps from this and that pip pip and all that sort of rot you know
oh la la your husband is going to murder him hee hee
ichandra looks into the future and sees this
hee hee can you guess what site it was if you can come and tell me in my journal in private cmon mon amie please play
well i hope you are looking for another poem to post for us now that you are out of the closet it is expected i will be disappointed if you dont
a la prochain mon amie petit gateau

That is a very pretty picture! I belong to webshots, so I have a lot of photos popping up on my screen saver & background. I enjoy the nature ones the best.

I don't have to tell you that I'm October's biggest fan!

I would LOVE it if you'd send me a link to that pic so I can snatch it for my desktop too. Thanks!
