October Already?
Fri Oct 01 2004

What?

October?

When did that happen?

I wasn't informed.

Oh yeah, for me it's still September 30th.

I'm always playing catch up with the International Date Line or is it GMT?

I never know what the date is because here at Dear Diary I always seem to be posting tomorrow's entry. When I go to the store and write a check, I always ask..."What is the date again?"

I'm tying up loose ends around here this week. Buttoning up small projects and larger ones, left and right. I feel very domestic and organized on most fronts.

Rumor has it on Sunday we are going up to a family friend's house in the boonies to gather apples from her apple orchard. I have visions of apple butter in my future.
I will try and remember to take some pictures of her place to share with you. I just know HamiPics will be up and running soon.

Looking forward to the debate tonight. Though it is difficult to watch people when you just know they beside themselves with nerves. Makes me jittery just to watch. But watch I will.

This isn't much of an entry. Sometimes I debate whether to post or not post when I really don't have much to say. What do you think? Is it better to skip a few days and show up when you have something of substance to talk about, or show up every day like a good trooper and put your two cents worth in, even when that's about all it's worth is two cents?

I would like to know what you think about that.

You are a day ahead and I am a day late. (or is it two?) You are feeling quite organized and I am feeling quite un......everything.

Something is very wrong in my universe. *sigh*

I like it when you write every day. I will take your two cents worth any day. It sure beats political ads. :) That is intended as a compliment by the way, but thoughts are coming out of me all wierd and I can not figure out how to make them come out right.

    I think I need food......or chocolate.......definately tea......maybe all of the above.

Did you know that you can change your settings in the customizer so that it knows what time zone you're in?

hello there mon amie idle thoughts can be the most powerful sometimes we are all posting tomorrows entry because there is no such thing as the present only thoughts becoming the future

i find that some of my neat ideas sometimes come when i am typing in other peoples journals like yours that i always head straight for
like today i said at my work in a group home for kids i quoted what i said in your journal about a god is never bloody he is never coloured that way the kids were so awesome one said thankyou they know strength when they hear it i was so pleased

also mon amie i have like a calendar at home where i write down appointments and library books that are due and sometimes i forget to look at the calendar it is just a boring necessity so i thought i would make it a bit more interesting by making it a bit artsy and this way i may not forget so every day i am just going to write one word and it is amazing how much can be said in one word

also i am downloading your blessing and pasting it in the calendar with the picture of the apple pie to have a good new year
you are such a wonderful writer that you say something even when you are not trying very hard
i always look forward to your entries although you never know i may not show for 2 or 3 days at times i dont have a home computer
    a la prochaine mon amie

Write. Maybe you don't have any world-shaking insights to share, but we love you even when you don't.

    So write.

    Shalom

Sometimes 2cents worth is worth millions.
But it must be said to be worth anything.

Write, or at least make the attempt. I'm sure plenty of my entries haven't even amounted to 1¢ on a good day. Having the calendar on my diary page helps though... makes me notice when I skip a day so I try a little harder to think.
