Here I am in Bloggar, composing an entry to post when Dear Diary is back up and running. Why do transitions never seem to go as smoothly as you hope they will?

Sending good thoughts to our Fearless Leader, plus virtual chocolate and pizza to sustain him in his efforts to make this site run smoother and faster.

It's chilly here this morning and I'm loving every minute of it. The sun shines, but it's cool nevertheless. I have even switched on the gas fireplace. The flames are burning off the dust that has collected on the fake logs all Spring and Summer. Later on, I plan to haul a comfy chair near it and finish my Stephanie Plum novel.... (One For The Money)
What a romp!

It's a good day to make soup. Even though I have a container of red lentil soup in the fridge from the other day. Can you have too much soup??? Only thing is, I need carrots. Can you make soup without carrots?

Oh, I'm rambling. incoherencies. Tsk, tsk. Time for a hot cup of tea.

Hope to hear from you all soon. The withdrawals haven't started yet. But I know they are on the way.

Come back Dear Diary! We need you!

Stephanie Plum should be required reading for everyone. The first book was good, but wait until you read the rest of them! Oh, and stop by evanovich.com and submit your entry for the title of the 11th book!

    Enjoy!

Carrots? Well maybe. I think I might be able to do without a carrot if I had plenty of tomatoes and potatoes in the soup. Oh, and plenty of onions.

I'm also in the soup making mood.

I've been sleeping snugly lately. Actually, the flannel sheets never came off except for a week. My bedroom has been *that* cold all summer.

If I bring the marshmallows (kosher), could I sit in front of your fireplace?

    Shalom

ahhh soup weather is back, as the leaves drop off my soup pot comes out. It is funny how I don't naturally fancy soup in summer even tho I do like the cold ones, but as soon as the weather turns I love it. This year I am going to try lots of new ones, last week I went to a restaurant and had a fantastic one with potato but i cannot remember the veg i *think* it was chicory, although it seemed a bit green for that. mmmm it was delicious I must ring them and find out and then make it

I have one problem with soup, #1 son does not like it, he can't stand the consistency which I find strange as he is not fussy and will eat just about anything else I dish up, this is a pain as a big old meal of soup and crusty bread doesn't really work in this family...pah!

    mmmmmm mmmmmmm
