Thanksgiving Photos
Mon Nov 29 2004

Here are the promised photos, courtesy of the digital camera of youngest son, and the wonders of email.(That's my empty chair there)

One half of the guests:

The main attraction for me, Pecan Pie, a la Mom:

The snowy surprise on Saturday morning:

And a wilder view from those who went for a drive to see it up close and personal from the 'Source Of All Weather' in the area:

Back home again, winter gives a milder bite in our area, but bite it does. There's a little frost this morning.

I'm dealing with the aftermath of travel, looking at piles of stuff to be put away, and a mountain of laundry to tackle. And in all the Thanksgiving excitement I forgot to post the numbers on the dreaded scale from Thursday. Here they be.

144.2 No change whatsoever. Hmmm. Evaluations must take place.

Howdy...Every once in awhile I can get online by clicking on to one particular email. I have no idea why. I was even able to order some books from Amazon today but if it's consistant it probably won't work for months after I leave it today.

Great pictures. We went to Marin Co. for Turkey Day for about four days. It rained all the way down but sunny weather after that.

Take care and maybe I'll be be able to get online more often. I still don't have the inclination to get my computer repaired since I can still send and receive emails. Much Love...D

    The snow looks so beautiful!
Sometimes I wish we had snow, but I'm not too sure I would handle the cold. It's quite hot where I am most of the year.

Pecan Pie, a la Mom looks very tasty.

The snow pictures are beautiful. What a treat. :)

As to this week's number, the very fact that the number did not go up is a victory given the ammount of feasting that went on over the weekend.
I cannot make the same claim. :(

I'll be joining you on that numbers project after the first of the year. Too many birthdays and Christmas this month I am refusing to stress myself out about it now. And I'm with Rebecca, at least they didn't go up. That is a major accomplishment right there!

Your pictures are wonderful, I love the snow!!

That pie is to die for!

We had a bit of snow here that melted quickly, and I just loved it! So refreshing and clean.

Glad you are back safe and sound.
