Today will be my multi-tasking day.
I am headed out to work in about half an hour. When I get off work, I will come home and quickly take a shower, something I hardly ever do. I am a bath person. But there will be no time for that luxury. And it has to be done, because the client is a heavy smoker, and I cannot deal with smelling like an ashtry the rest of the day! Then I will head out to the Writer's group tonight. Then after the group, I want to go to Linens N Things to find a new set of sheets. I have had it with the masculine colored ones we have been using for lo these 6 years. I'm getting ROSEBUDS.

THEN I have to pick up some groceries at a store near where the writers group meets. I might get home by 10:30 or 11:00 tonight. I am trying valiently to make every trip out in the car count.... gas prices are rising as fast as the peas coming up in my garden.

This is not my usual lifestyle.

We shall see how I cope with it. I shall endeavor to take notes throughout the day.

Okay, gotta run........ literally.

    Sounds like a full day, Reg. gas just went to $2.74 yesterday here in S.V. I would ask for a gas mileage adjustment for this is crazy.

    who can beat a long hot bath? fab...

    hope you get some nice linene, I just treated myself to a new flat sheet - white with lovely bright red rosebuds! It looks really nice with the duvet pulled back and the roses poking out. So nice to get into bed when that one is on, I got kinda sick of all the beige and white in my house and have been adding roses and flowers here and there, great!

    Oh I love new sheets.. My favorites are 300 thread count Egyptian cotton. But the 300 thread count blended type I don't like. They seem to stick to your PJ's or skin..

    I meant to comment lawn fairies cute can a fairy be masculine well I guess it can be anything you want it to be hee hee cute
    masculine coloured sheets never thought of it that way I guess pink is feminine I meet young boys that dont like pink because it is feminine sad I say it is such a loving colour
    clearly defined sex roles strike a chord of discord in life
    yeah bring on the male fairies only you are cute enough to think of that

    If I did what you're doing it would have to be absolutely no smokers! I'd end up in the hospital before the day was over.

    And smelling like an ashtray? Yuck!!!

    Did you find out about Thursday? I never got around to calling.

    Ohhhh, rosebuds! Love 'em. Did my whole bedroom in roses, complete with brass bed with accent roses in porceline, complete lacy bedset with roses in pink with a little pale blue on white, lace curtain in rose pattern, pale blue carpet and rose colored slatted doors and a portrait of roses in a mahogony frame. Pity I didn't get to enjoy it long, however I'm sure my first husband just loved it (not!). Ohhhhh I sure did a great job decorating that house for him.

    Oh yeah, I'm in YOUR diary, not mine . . .

    Anyway, yeah, gas prices are awful! I'm sure sticking close to home, and I suppose I am even walking more. My grocery store is even walking distance, so that's nice.

    How did the sheet hunt go? I have a hard time finding sheets I like.
