I am experimenting today with fonts. I have "Bradley Hand" installed on my computer and wondered if this would show up on any of your screens. After all, there must be a little bit of geek in all of us, beings as how we are writing on line diaries, right???

I am finding myself in an interesting state these last several days. Now that the novel is complete (though not finished, I feel compelled by honesty to add), I find that I am casting about for a new writing project. I cannot believe that I am willing to burden myself with another one so soon, but there you have it. I am ruminating on it.
Proof that I must be in some sort of self destructing mind set.

I must confess, if I don't focus on a particular goal, I end up just writing pages and pages of stream of consciousness flotsam and jetsam, that I then put through the shredder because I'm afraid family members will discover it and commit me forthwith.

I was doodling with a pencil, illustrating some small paragraph of drivel, when it dawned on me that perhaps today would be a good day to attempt some drawing. Something about the feel of the pencil on the paper was therapeutic. I have chosen a card with a little chipmunk sitting on a pile of acorns to copy.

Odd....

You know I remember Art Therapy when I used to work at the psychiatric ward.....

I am not crazy. I am not crazy. I am not crazy. I am NOT crazy!!!

I might be ....disturbed.... , but I'm not crazy!

Here is a picture of my little green tomatoes, growing in the garden.

The Little Red Hen wanted to add a few words:

"I don't know what all the fuss is about shredding those scribble pages. They are nothing but chicken scratch anyway..."

To me it's completely normal for you to feel this way; both the drawing and wanting to try anotehr writing project. You're stirring up creativity from inside yourself. Sounds normal to me. ;-)

I do a lot of what I call doodling with pencil and paper. You might have noticed that when going through the workbook I loaned you.

Oh, and I just have to show you what I found at the new Rite Aid. Pentech's "Fireworks" gel pens. With sparkles!

If I knew what 'Bradley Hand' was supposed to look like I would probably be of more help...what was on my screen was very large, bold type.

I have no doubt that you, through your art therapy, will have your mind opened up to the most profound subject there ever was or is, to write about. Is THAT confidence, or what??? I'll be waiting!

Thanks for your comment! God Bless, Parett

Start another !! gee painters and labors do try and finish one job before starting another. Writers must be of another mind set. Of course our great thinkers always had several things cooking in the pot and now and then it was a feast .

I don't see how this is any different from having seven quilts and three crochet projects in the works at the same time so go for it. LOL

By the way, the font came thru as perfect Bradley Hand.......one of my favorites.

Your new font shows up fine on my computer, but since I'm sitting here without my glasses at the moment it's a little challenging to read.
