I sat here this morning daydreaming, wondering just what I was willing to tackle today. And I looked over to my right and had a good look at what is tacked onto my bulletin board. I decided it is a pretty fair microcosm of my life. The things stuck up there cover a 53 year span. Kids, postcards old and new, photos of friends, hiking trips, appointment cards, one wedding photo, lots of pictures of Robbie, the stupid smog papers for the car we have to deal with soon, and a drawing the Rabbi made one evening in class that believe it or not represents a very impressive "Ah Ha!" moment in my understanding of Kabbalah. Oh yeah, and my lamb's wool duster which is temporarily homeless because Hub Man's daughter has commandeered the hall closet during her extended visit with us.

Pretty much all my *peeps are watching over me from the wall over there. It's messy and chaotic which is something I don't generally enjoy. But on that board it seems to work. It's good to know I am not TOTALLY anal about keeping things neat. And sometimes on really bad days, looking at all those friendly faces keeps me from losing touch with reality.
Do YOU have a board with your peeps?
What does it look like, and how does it make you feel?
*Peeps (slang for people, in case you've never heard that one)
