I have coined a new blogging term.
"Slogging"
1. The act of blogging when you feel like your brain is wearing lead boots.
2. Any on-line writing done when the author is less than fully, shall we say "awake" and or "alert".
3. Blogging while under the influence of too few Jr. Mints.
I am a bundle of indecision today.
I stared at the "font" selector in Bloggar for 5 minutes. Silly.
I mean in the grand scheme of things, just how important is THAT?
Well, enough to render me motionless and brain dead for 5 minutes....
(Oh boy, somebody take her pulse.)
I'm going to go to work again today from noon till 5. That is going to be it for me this week. I have had enough. This will make 31 hours for me. Nice on the money front, but I start to get spacey when I am gone from home too much. It's just a fact of my life.
Yesterday I went to the book store. Always a happy occasion. While there, I found and carried around a calendar with pictures of Shelties for all the twelve months of the year. I just took it everywhere I went right up until I headed for the checkout counter. I just knew that looking at it would make me homesick for Robbie. I put it back on the shelf. What a weenie.
But I also found a beautiful little cloth gift bag by Crabtree and Evelyn filled with rose scented body products for my friend up in the mountains. She loves rose scented stuff. We exchange gifts once a year, and this is the perfect thing for her. I am enjoying its fragrance for a few days here by my computer. I will have to get it mailed to her soon, but in the meantime, I am surrounded by lovely scents.
Well, no more playing around. I have to go get ready to leave.
And besides that, I'm hungry. And thirsty. And addle brained. I just thought I would add that bit of honesty. It's the best policy they say.
At least I had time to smell the roses eh???
