I am playing catch up.
Too many days of working for me. 2 days last week and I was away from 2 in the afternoon until 11 last night, so the projects are piling up around here.
I am going about my day in a most haphazard way. Fly Lady would be appalled.
I have done laundry, am felting a wool bag, I cut my bangs, sprayed the peach and apple tree for leaf curl, made the bed, emptied garbage, cut down a huge lavender bush that was taking over the back yard, pruned the orange tree, and generally gone flitting from one thing to the next until my head is spinning. I think I have done all that other stuff to avoid running the vacuum, which for some reason today I have developed an aversion to. Don't ask. I have no idea what that's about.
I have a skirt cut out and ready to sew up. I'm holding my breath that I cut it large enough. I cut off the bottom part of an old dress that was too large for me. Wonderful Laura Ashley dress. But hey, it was too big! The skirt has 6 gores in it and it's hard to tell if I will be able to get it around my waist. But it sits in a pile on my sewing table tut tutting at me. We are out of cookies and I really should bake some, but realistically if I don't get that vacuuming done, I won't have time. I talked myself out of going out to go shopping. It wasn't hard to do. But I have a list with several odd ball things on it that have to be gotten hither thither and yon. I'm just not into a four wheeled excursion today.
I was going to clean out my car and vacuum it too this afternoon, but due to the vacuum cleaner aversion, that's not getting done.
Maybe it's the noise.
That could be it.
I need a quiet vacuum cleaner.
(What you NEED is to fix that hole in your head.)
I wonder if I could vacuum ( ) up into the dust bag?
Hmmmm.....
