The Red Feather Report
Mon Mar 26 2007

[album 65561 GoofyHen2.JPG]"Well my hens and chickens,
it's me, Little Red Hen.
I have been home alone
all the live long day.
She Who Must Not Be Named
didn't leave me the keys
to the house, so
that rambunctious dog
and I sat about in the yard
which wasn't too bad really....
Until it started to rain.
Then we had to high tail it
to the garage.
Now THERE'S a place
that could use my special
talents! But I didn't dare
touch a thing.
He Who Must Not Be Named
is very territorial about the
mountain of stuff in the garage.
It was very trying indeed
not to tidy up just a little tiny bit.

Now that night has fallen,
I hear that the deliberations continue
down at the courthouse.
Whoda thunk it?
What a fuss.

But I am very proud to report
that she promised to bake cookies
for her fellow jurors. She's in
the kitchen right now.

I taught her well....

Still deliberating? What a pity! But cookies, why, you could wrap things up pretty quickly that way (if you wanted to - but that would be wrong). lol ;o)

You poor thing. I miss her, too. Maybe her cookies will do the trick and they will come to some conclusion. We can only hope.
    Hugs!

Dear, dear Hen: Is She Who Must Not Be Named also so territorial that you have to be left outside when she isn't there. Now I have observed that she's generally a Very Tidy Lady, but even so, I should imagine she would be happy for a little bit of help.

Actually, it must have been traumatic, to say the least, to have to occupy the same garage with that rambunctious dog and He Who Must Not Be Named's "mountain of stuff."

Here, Dear, have a nice cuppa. Put your feet up. Rain and thunder are predicted for tomorrow, so go pick yourself a nice high roost in that place of mountainous stuff, and far from the dog.

There, there. This too will pass.

    Shalom
