Here it is. It's not quite finished. I am looking everywhere I go for some sort of decoration for the end of the copper pipe. A little metal fairy? A dragonfly? A bee? A troll? Dunno. I'll know it when I see it. I just haven't seen it yet. I'm having fun trying different things for the water to flow into. If I had a little more room in the pot, I would put a teacup under the tea pot spout. I think I might be able to do that if Hub Man will move that pipe for me one more time. [You have to watch out with asking men to do too many adjustments. They just don't GET micro arranging do they?]
Of course the most charming thing about fountains is not so much what they look like as what they sound like. This one has just the right amount of water sounds for my taste.
Yesterday the Air Force Thunderbirds did a practice run of their flying routine. I expect the same today. I may have to go plant myself out on the edge of the air field and check it out from there. But on the weekend, I prefer the calm of our own yard to the crowds. A lot of people drive out and park in a church parking lot and set up lawn chairs on a bank. Our quiet spot on the planet becomes a bit of a zoo for those two days, but I don't mind. I GET why they want to be here!
Big, loud, fast, airplanes!
Woo Hoo!
