We went to see 'The Book of Eli' at the theater yesterday. I have to say, of all the post-apocalyptic movies we have seen in the last few months, this one is the best.

Of course looking at Denzel Washington for a couple of hours is never a bad thing now is it? Yummy! He did a great job in this movie. And even though it had some bleak and gory moments, I can highly recommend it to you. At least in my book, it avoided gratuitous bleak and gory. 

It is raining yet again today. I'm happy. Even though I would like to be poking around in the garden with a few things, I'd rather have a little too much rain rather than a not enough of it.

 I finished my scarf/shawl and it is drying off on top of the bed, sporting its blocking pins at the moment...

I'm happy with it. Though it took me a long time to make it for its size. Lacy work is time consuming!

    Denzel certainly isn't hard on the eyes, that's for sure ;). I want to see the movie but might wait for it to come out on DVD. We shall see.

    Lace may be time consuming, but it is definately worth the effort. The scarf is lovely and the color is perfect.....one of my favorites.

    Another good movie you will want to check out is The Blind Side. Extremely good movie.

    Enjoy the rain, we're missing it up here! I hope it is back in the next day or two though so we have the wonderfully green springs we are so used to!
