If we could have ordered up the weather for the game last night, we could not possibly have gotten better than what it turned out to be all on its own.
No heat. No chill. No pesky winds.
Perfection.
A likely atmosphere for our team to win against the Portland Beavers 7 to 6.
And the best part was the winning run was scored by a slide into home plate,
Classic.
Baseball at its finest.

I was not the only knitter there. Though we were scattered about. I only saw one other lady that I knew from our guild. Which tells me we must have a lot of knitters in our area. Here is a hat being worked on by a lady from "The Mad Hatters" who knit hats for babies and give them to the local hospitals.

My sock was there too.

I would show you the progress I have made on it this morning, but after taking three pictures and photshopping them to within an inch of their life, I am SO frustrated with trying to get one that shows its real colors that I am just going to skip it. As I don't want you to think that I am knitting a red and green sock, when in fact it is fuchsia and purple. Okay there is a little thread of green in there, but it is not dominant... Grrrrr......
Anyway, a good time was had by all at the old ball game.
Including the sock, bless its little fuchsia heart.
