What A Fetching Little Hen!

Ah, I love the sight
of complicated
knitting in the morning....

I know that this multi colored yarn is not the best choice for showing off cables, but it just tickles me to look at it because it is so cheerful.
I am knitting a pair of fingerless gloves called "Fetching". Pattern here....

This pattern has been around a while, and I am finally getting on the bandwagon to knit it up.
After SEVERAL false starts I might add. Working off the cast on row with those needles and that yarn was no picnic. I was sorely tempted to snap a few little wooden sticks. Only thing is a set of 5 now is so dear, (8.99!?) I couldn't allow myself the indulgence of said snappage. Happily, my Scots stubborn streak kicked in and now I am going to finish them come hell or high water.

At least I will be treated to these lovely colors while I work off my revenge.

just to catch up on the comments
I read that you would use multicolored threads to make a hobbits bag and I thought afterwards well that is so appropriate to a hobbit's bag -the multicoloured threads representing the many beautifully varied threads of the hobbits adventure

also I think it is beautifully profound and exciting that you should be the fostering agent to new little puppies along with being very cute

this will be such a grand experience for you considering how much you love puppies

love requires a lot of variety doesnt it

have a beautiful day beautiful jewish yetzirah

wow I loved that goblin I wonder what coloured threads his bag would require he is so deep dark and mysterious and precious

Maybe the multi-colors don't show of the cable so well, but they sure are cheerful.

VERY nice! Are you using a cable needle? I've order the KP Harmony cable needles and am waiting impatiently for them to come in. Probably not until the end of the month though, they are popular little things.

I just love the multi-coloured look. Lol, it's getting cold there now. I'm down to shorts and a t-shirt with my hair up as things hot up over here. ;-)
