This is your roving blogger clacking away on a straight keyboard from the outposts of the far North. I am lamenting the loss of my natural keyboard but muddling through by liberal use of the backspace key.
It looks like Vermont up here in the mountains. In the back yard of S's house there is a maple tree that is so red it looks neon. Especially today as it is overcast. Hmmmm.... now I am wondering if I can get a picture...

Ha! I did it!
Innit a beaut?
So I am off today into the fray, to see how many people I can connect with before my dentist appointment. There's a potluck tonight, Mamallama is coming over later to craft or knit or what not, and tomorrow is taking shape as a busy one.
I got to order food from my old food co-op that I picked up yesterday. That was really nice to see old friends and paw through boxes of food.
Oh, and one other thing. Hamlet the cat has gone missing.
I haven't talked to Hub Man yet today, but as of last night he had been gone for 48 hours.
We are not at all sure what happened. I guess that is a chance a cat takes when he is so fond of 'out'. And trust me, Hamlet would not take "No." for an answer in that department.
We shall see. Maybe he is just on vacation at someone else's house.
Let's hope that's it.
And for me, that is it... I gotta get going. I got places to go and people to see and Hobbit pouches to knit!
