Tiggers Are Wonderful Things

Yesterday I went to one of my favorite places to shop.

Goodwill.

I have an entire running shopping list of things I am looking for that is specific to that store. I've been cat sitting for many days now for a couple who are in England on their honeymoon. I pass by this Goodwill store on the way to their house every day.

Anyway, I found some really nice dog toys there yesterday for 99 cents each. I was elated, because when I look at the dog toys at PetSmart I almost have a fit they cost so much. I almost invariably leave the overpriced things right where they are.

Here are Sunny and Belle with their new playthings....

Sunny's even has the voice of Paul Winchell as Tigger. I didn't even know it until I gave it to her and she squeezed it hard enough to make the recording work. It's this song, only not with all the verses....

I bought two more that I am holding in reserve for later. I could not believe what nice stuffed animals they had there...

It's good to know you can still find really nice stuff for 99 cents....

I don't know why that seems so important to me right now, but it does.

So I'm making note of it.

    I find it amusing that the smaller dog has the bigger toy... it's almost as big as she is!

    I think it's neat that Belle has a reserve toy waiting for her that looks just like her. It's like a doggie-dolly.

    Belle is smiling! She looks so happy to have her very own toy.

    They're not at risk of swallowing things like glass eyes if they chew the toys to bits, are they?

    Goodwill seems to getting a better class of stuff since the last time I was in one.

    Belle's toy reminds me of the American Girl dolls. You can custom order a doll from them that looks like you. It would appear Belle is ahead of the curve.
