This morning I shuffled out of my room, bleary eyed, to let the dogs out to do what dogs do in the back yard first thing in the morning....
It has been cloudy and windy and rainy for days [we are so thankful!] but this morning when I got up, things seemed quiet outside.
I pulled back the curtains that cover the slider and saw this...
Wow.
What can I tell you? I stood there gaping like a fish out of water. Then I actually had the presence of mind to trot off and get the camera. It's a good thing too, because it only lasted about another 30 seconds and then was gone.
Isn't that a nice thing to see first thing in the morning?
I'm taking it as a sign.
A sign of hopeful things. Things that don't have anything to do with politicians. But have everything to do with the One who sustains those clouds and sun rays.
It's going to be a good day.
No matter what the politicians do without our permission.
