Apple Cozy Of Unusual Size

I thought I was prepared to write up my rant of the week, but turns out I need all my brain cells functioning at top form for that, and sadly, it seems some of my brain cells are missing in action today. So I will put this picture of the apple cozy that I made during a knit-a-long at the retreat. My cozy turned out to be on the large size and I'm afraid I don't have an apple huge enough to fill it up. But you get the idea.  It was fun.

    Pardon my ignorance but why exactly does an apple NEED a cozy? I mean its really cute and all but one is confused over the need for apple cozyness.

    It’s cute and in lieu of a suitably sized apple you could use it as a Pomegranate cozy. :)

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but could it be a random cozy (perhaps for a tea pot, cookie jar) that just LOOKS like an apple?
    It certainly is cute, whatever it's use.
