I see I shall have to lean heavily on my writing skills today as there will be no photos yet. Brace yourselves.
The temperatures are getting cooler and I hear we shall have rain this weekend. I'm ready. Rain is good.
I've been watching UFO shows on the History channel today. My conspiracy theory file is getting thicker by the minute. I usually don't watch TV in the daytime much, but today I am experiencing a sort of delayed 'knitting retreat lag'. I'm a bit on the low energy side of things. Ergo, I have the fireplace turned on and a hat on the needles. I also feel a nap coming on. Naps are good.
The green waste container was picked up yesterday, so now I think I can finish up my fall trimming and cleaning up. All except for leaves. Unless we get a hard frost, which is very unlikely, our leaf raking days will be quite some time in the future I'm afraid.
After being exposed to all that knitting genius at the retreat, I'm having the burning desire to start elevendy six projects at once. I think I will start by dragging out all my yarn and petting it. I'll see if anything jumps out of the bins and tells me what it wants to be. Yarn is good.
Ben has been letting me know in subtle and not so subtle ways that he needs to go for a run. I don't think the dogs have been to the playground in about four days, so I owe them a romp. Ben is good.
(What about Sunny?)
Sunny is good too. She's just more modest than Ben about the walkies thing...
I need to show you the clover patch too, as soon as it is possible to post some pictures. It looks like the real thing now with three leaves and everything.
(Please don't say "clover is good" will ya? It's just too obvious.)
Okay.
I'll refrain from too much frivolity for your sake.
But just for the record....
Frivolity is good.
(Aaaarrrrrgggghhhh!)
