The winner of the dog leash felted bag?
404 Error!
Woo Hoo!
I may have found one more thing in the bottom of my finished object stash, so that means we have two more things to give away. And interestingly enough, they are actually the two that I find I am most attached to. But since I can knit duplicates if I really want to, I'm still going to make a clean sweep of it. So watch for the next item soon.

Yesterday, I finished the last watercolor in the series I started in order to learn a bit about these paints and how they work.

Learned a fair amount too. I have decided that looking at all your art, knitting, cooking, and any other creative endeavors as 'experiments' takes the freak out factor down to levels I can live with, and in that more relaxed state, I seem to do better work. I love to knit with only the most rudimentary of patterns and improvise along the way. It feels more organic.
(It's also very lazy and without discipline.)
Yeeessss.... that's true.
(What? You don't want to deny and debate?)
Nope.
I'm figuring out that I gain discipline and learn to work hard when I allow myself to play first. Because at a certain point in any artistic pursuit, your desire to create comes up against your lack of skills. So you have to hone your skills ....
(You mean actually LEARN to read the knitting patterns....?)
Yes. But to never leave out the element of play and freedom. I'm learning to juggle both.
(Well you DO look rather clownish come to think of it.)
You never give up do you?
(Nope.)
Neither do I (), neither do I.
