What happens when you don't have a menorah on hand? Go to the wood shed.     Hnka   Improvise. :-) We had a lovely Thanksgiving. Friends and family from near and far congregated in this marvel of a location that was rented by the out of towners…. TG2   It's only a mile and a half from my house. In a very secluded place. Amazing. It was the perfect place for our dinner. A 'resort' in our own back yard. Kinda mind boggling. Now that everyone has gone home, I find myself in the throws of end of the year introspection. And at the same time, my fingers are itching to make a list of long term plans and goals for the new year.  I have a feeling my world will be a little larger, and I'm hoping gentler than the last one. Today marks one year that I have lived in this house. It hardly seems that long. But there you have it. Calendars don't lie. I'm grateful for its sturdy shelter here on the edge of the woods. We are getting along just fine, without any major changes. Just little adjustments here and there. It's all good. Very good.   lime wild

The menorah seems the perfect match for your little cottage at the edge of the woods. :) Praying the next year brings peaceful days, creative moments and joyful surprises around every corner.

Your menorah is wonderful. It is hard to believe it's been a year. Hope the upcoming year is both wonderous and wonderful.
